My name is Suran Du, I’m from China. This is my fourth year in Tourism Management at TRU. I’m really interested in traveling and hope to work in the tourism industry. Traveling broadens my horizon, I enjoy different experiences in different countries, especially the local culture and history. I like to travel to Europe, European countries have a special culture and long history. In my impression, most of the countries in Europe are developed tourism country, there are lots of tourists who come to travel every year. So the most important for me during travel is getting to know the local tourism or even the European tourism industry.
In the future, I prefer to work in the tourism industry. So it is important to understand the tourism industry in different countries. Study in tourism management helps me to better understand the development of tourism in a region or a country. Understand the historical development, major theories, concepts, and principles underpinning tourism policy and planning.
